The Australian Nexus 7 deliveries from Google Play are being handled by FedEx. They are shipped from Hong Kong.

We paid $19.99 for 2 Day Shipping.

Mine still hasn't arrived. It was to be picked up by FedEx LAST WEDNESDAY. It's still in transit:

Just got off the phone with FedEx. My device won't arrive until this Wednesday. A fecking week for 2 day shipping.

They tell me Google didn't pay for 2 day shipping. I'm going to talk to Google now.

Tried to talk some sense with Google customer support. The initial guy could'nt tell me why my 2 Day Shipping was going to take a week. So, he went to talk to his Supervisor. The Supervisor told him to tell me to "read the fine print". The fine print evidently says that 2 Day Shipping from Google means 3-5 working days. "All I can tell you is to read the fine print, OK?" CLUNK.

Feck you Google. Liars. I'm done with buying Google products from now on. This whole launch has been a royal clusterfest... and slightly shows the dark underbelly of Google. Lying, several times, charging extra for less, taking extra money for shipping and not paying FedEx for the faster service. Con job.

Google shipped my Nexus 7 to me overnight. I guess Google just draws a random number and ships it to you based off of that.
