Can you tether to a Blackberry

Can anyone help as I can't find any tether software to link my Blackberry to my Nexus 7

As long as you can provide a wifi hotspot, you're good. Most new BBs can do that. You don't say which one you have or what OS you are running. OS6 has tethering built in. Also there is Tetherberry (if it's still available). You may have to pay for the privilege.though. It's been a while since it was possible to tether to a BB for free - at least on Verizon.

Hi - thanks for your quick reply. I have a Blackberry 9780 running v6.0.0.668 - do you know if it has tethering. I can't find it in the menu system

Since I'm not running BB at the moment I will have to wait until I can get home and start my 9930. Or you can go to the Blackberry forum here (under the Blackberry button at the top of this page) and find your device and ask there.

I think only BB with 7.1 can do hot spot - "Tetherberry" is now "Tether" and you can find it here:

That sounds right - handy tip; ALWAYS check anything I say. But yeah, go to the BB forums. Lots of good people there. You'll have your answer before I ever get home
