Re: So I got HBO GO working......
I was able to download HBOGo using 1Mobile. Can't get this app from the Play Store. You have to use 1Mobile.com.
This app allows you to download apps the Play Store says are not compatible.NookColor running CM10.1
Galaxy Note running RootBox
Nexus 7 Running JellyBam v7 - 07-29-2012, 08:29 AM #3
I been doing this with the stock browser not chrome and it has great playback. Nothing like the app. I was hoping you got the app to work.

Re: So I got HBO GO working (on browser)
this isn't that hard, people!! Don't a lot of you all ready run dolphin 8.5.1 and flash 11.1?
if you do, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is turn off pop-up blocking, log into HBO go on the browser and watch to your heart's content. The only issue I've had with flash that is a bit annoying, but not a show stopper, is that Dolphin will FC if you hit "full screen" playback of a video. at least the ones I've tried (not necessarily on HBO go--just any random videos I've played). - 07-29-2012, 12:27 PM

Re: So I got HBO GO working (on browser)
For some reason it is hard and I don't know why. Because I can't play Flash with Dolphin 8.5.1 with Flash side loaded. It kinda works with Firefox (but no full screen mode). Only thing that actually worked for me was side loading the stock AOSP browser, finally works.

For what it is worth, anyone with Comcast can use the Xfinity player to access all the HBO Go content.

Re: So I got HBO GO working (on browser)
If you read dolphins app description it says it won't play well worth flash considering they are moving away from flash.

Perhaps something else on your phone is conflicting. It SHOULD work.

Re: So I got HBO GO working (on browser)
Here's what I'm running (thanks to another thread about HBO Go):
Flash installed.
Firefox Aurora.
Firefox "Phony" plugin to fool HBO into thinking I'm using a Desktop machine.
I get the same interface as on my PC - only drawback is that it doesn't respond very well to touch, so I have to use my Bluetooth keyboard. - 08-09-2012, 10:50 AM #22
