Default Nexus 7 connects via ethernet

Similar to my Toshiba thrive, the Nexus 7 also connects via cat5 adapter. Instructions on thriveforums, as I don't have time to post now. Only some adapters work on Thrive tab, may be similar for 7.

    More time now:

Let N7 boot up and be fully awake, disable wifi, but not in airplane mode, connect usb/cat5 adapter (with micro usb adapter also.)

N7 will pull DHCP address that you can see in wifi settings, advanced.

Good trick for those of us in corp world, with no wifi.

Will try to post link with compatable wifi adapters from thriveforums, but may be against forum rules.

I use linksys usb300m and a micro usb adapter from ebay.

I tried a few other adapters and it works with them also.

Very cool, I was actually thinking about this just for fun. But my WIFI is pretty good at my home, so I doubt I'll use this method.
I am NOT the person set as my icon, and no, I don't know who she is.
