Default Update on n7 after a few weeks

I guess i'm lucky in that my 16gb n7 has none of the problems SO FAR that so many on this forum have been whining about. Its a c60 unit, meaning according to the latest gossio, a first run unit that i bought from radioshack.com. As N apple/ipad pwner i'm still really impressed with this thing. It seems easily as fast as my ipad:3, the screen to me is no better or worse than the retina on the ioad and the battery life is FAR superior. That said i still tend to use my ipad more because of the larger screen tect and my tired eyes. It'll be interesting to see what apple offers in the rumored ipad mini. Oh, one more thing. There isnt an app i'm missing on the n7 that i have on my ipad.

Still love mine after almost 4 weeks. I'm also a (former) iPad user. At first, I did miss the larger display, but after a little time, I've grown accustomed to the 7-inch size. Plus, the N7 is making many more daily trips with me than my iPad did. It's becoming a "constant companion" which I really love about it. I never 100% found the right use case for my iPad, but the size of the N7 changes that completely.

In a conversation with my mother yesterday, she asked me to convince her to purchase the Nexus 7, since she already owns an iPad. I said "the N7 does everything the iPad does, and it'll fit in your purse too."

    She was sold.

Much better then an iPad and more flexible funny to watch people with an iPad and have to struggle to put it away when done...

Traveling with a N7 is amazing with Google Now plus gps..

I can't get over the speed of this thing and the size is perfect. It's got exactly what you need in a tablet.

I had an Ipod Touch, I was amazed with all the apps available. Tough on the eyes tho.
The N7 is almost 3 times bigger & apps are added frequently.
I was leaning toward the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 until I read about the N7.

While I am not a big IOS or MAC OS fan I like Apple hardware just fine. Have been running Win7 on a MB Air for a while and really love it. I always wanted a tablet in the 7" range and when the Fire came out I picked one up and was reasonably happy with it (but that carousel! ugh). My plan was to pickup a 7" ipad if and when apple came to their senses and made one (some people want that size, Steve) but to be honest with the Nexus 7 I am done. This thing is awesome and I have to remind myself it was also cheap. It has a high end feel and I see no reason to update now. I really really love this thing.
