    Default Common defects?

Hey, sorry to make another crappy lq post, but could someone list some of the defects everyone is having, and how to look for them, so I can tell before I root. Thanks in advance!

as I said many times before, don't look for any problems and you wont find any. Just enjoy your tablet.

    Guys didnt answer his question.

    Known defects are :

    Light leakage
    Raised screen
    Screen flickering

Those are the only ones I can think of

We certainly needed a fourth thread retelling the same issues all over again.

Look at the left side of the tablet. If the glass is lifted above the bezel, I would return it as defective. You'll see many complaints about light bleed (bright patches of light coming from the edges on a black screen), but that's a fact of life with lcd displays. Unless light bleed is awful, don't worry about it...during real use, you likely won't see it.

Exactly. All of the OP had to do was a search. Why start another thread that's redundant stating the same problems over and over again?

Screen flickering is an issue with some units, and the screen-raise problem is definitely present in others (if you can call a 1/4 MM of raise above the bezel a true "problem").

However, I've seen only one or two true documented cases of backlight bleed. I don't think it is anything close to a common problem. As discussed in other threads, it seems to me that the vast majority of the reports of "backlight bleed problems" actually stem from people not having a clue how an LCD screen works..I remain shocked that so many folks are still confused by it. LCDs don't show blacks as true black. Ever. Always a dark, dark gray. Read any comparisons between the HTC One X's screen, and, say, the Galaxy S3's. You'll see these issues discussed there too. The N7's LCD display is simply exhibiting the same pros and cons as any other..that doesn't mean an image that isn't fully black shows it to have backlight bleed.
