    Default GPS Location Issues

My GPS on the Nexus 7 is showing up as my location is in a different state. I am in Arizona it is showing me as being is Missouri. I tried turning off all the basic location settings and that did not correct the problem. Also tried simply turning off the wifi, but that did not do the trick either. This device is unrooted so if anyone knows an easy fix for this please let me know thanks!

you should actually turn on all the location settings so that Nexus can pinpoint your accurate location.

enable wifi and open the maps and let it search for the location. also turn on GPS.

They should be on together and click current location in maps.

Originally that is what I had tryed and it still showed my actual location in a different state. I just turned everything back on, but it makes no difference is still registers as being in a different state.

Thanks for this app. I am trying it now. This app does show my correct gps location. When I click on the Clear AGPS button it only says "Clear AGPS request made" and does not do anything from that point on. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

After trying the suggested app it just kepts saying "clear agps request made". I have now tryed a few different similar apps where it says it cleared the AGPS, but it did not correct the problem at all.

If he's saying the GPS fix located him correctly it sounds like what ever app he's using is corrupt or maybe do cache wipe on that app.

It is the google services that does not register me in the correct location and anything associated with it. Google Maps, all of the sample cards registers it me as being in a different location. I already deleted google maps and re installed it and wiped the cache and data for it, but it did not help either. I tryed downloading a gps app and it registers my correct location

So it means that your GPS is actually working correctly but for some reason Google services is using your reported wifi location. What happens if you try to move around while Google Maps is open? Will it track your movement walking down the street?
