Default N7 touch screen erratic when plugged into charger.

I can't use the N7 when it is being charged. The touch screen is very erratic and the screen bounces all over the map when I touch it. It also zooms very large and won't let me select anything. Unplug it and all is fine. Anyone else try This?

Are you using the supplied charger that came with it? The touch screen, like the rest of it, is dependent on the electrical input from battery or charger. Too little charge or too much could cause this behavior.

    Also static electricity as well.

Mine does this frequently as well, plug into official charger. Turning screen off and on fixes. Two different houses in different cities (trying to rule out bad outlets)

I posted my details to the touch response issue here. Either I can't type because of spotty response (doesnt even show the key press) or I can't draw lines - makes them wiggly. Holding in bed or laying on desk dont matter.

I have a Galaxy Nexus phone and it does this as well. It's happening on two different devices form two different manufacturers so I don't think it is a Nexus issue. It seems to be some sort of Android bug.

No, I was using an after market charger that charges at 2.1 amps VS 2.0 amps from ASUS. Tried it on the original charger, and it works much better, but still a little "jumpy". Guess the N7 Doesn't like that extra .1 amps...

    Thanks, Larry

Yes, not sure if it's an Android "bug" or "feature", lol, but I've noticed it on my HTC Rezound as well. My Rezound will charge with a 400maH charger but reeeallll sloooowly and it will behave this way. Also the 2.0amp charger for my N7 acts like a quick charger for my Rezound but again I get that behavior occasionally. The HTC normally uses a 1.0 amp charger.
