Using Google wallet with case on the tablet
I'm planning to try Google Wallet for the very first time one day this week, using my Google Nexus 7 tablet.
To avoid looking like a bumbling ***** on the spot, I'd like to know ahead of time if the beam makes the needed contact with a terminal if a device has a cover on it. I have a hard, "ultra thin" cover on mine (Blurex).
Thank you. - 10-01-2012, 11:25 AM #2

As long as the range is with in <0.2 m I think you should be fine.
Not sure if a hard case would block the signal but i guess it wont.
also know where the nfc chip is on your nexus. - 10-01-2012, 11:47 AM
