com.process.google.gapps has crashed.
So I had a bug where I could not download anything on the Google play store, it just took me to the home screen, so I restarted my Nexus 7, and it came up with error. I have been looking online and they all said that you Should go into accounts and sync and disable sync , but there isn't anything called accounts and sync on my nexus 7. So where can I find it, I don't really want to do everything all over again.

Coincidentally I also got this message a few hours ago for the first time. It didn't seem to affect anything, so I ignored it, figuring it was something that would fix itself. I guess it did. Didn't have any problems with downloading.

Open up settings and scroll down. It'll be right there.

Re: com.process.google.gapps has crashed.
If the problem is only with the play store, you could try going into settings>apps> swipe to the left to go to all apps, select play store and try forcing it to stop, clear the cache and clear data. That will reset the app. If it works, it will be like ending the store for the first time.

Re: com.process.google.gapps has crashed.
Can you push anything to the tablet from the Web version of the play store?
What the above poster said could work. Otherwise you may need to do a factory reset, which sucks, but not as much as a market that doesn't work.
Are you rooted by any chance? If you run ClockworkMod Recovery, I'd suggest wiping the Dalvick cache....

Re: com.process.google.gapps has crashed.
Had to do the same after having mine for about a month. The device started crawling when a game I downloaded was chewing up data and didn't resolve when I uninstalled it. Fixed everything right up.
