I have just got my Nexus 7 and thoroughly enjoying it when I inadvertently turn on the Talk Back.
It has totally locked up the device apart from telling me what I've just pressed. I can't go Home, Setup, Apps or anything.
I'd like to read a book but am completly locked out.
What to do??

settings-->Accessibility-->Talk Back-->Off

click all app drawer there will a settings icon.

You can go onto app draw and then find the settings icon by scrolling with 2 fingers instead of 1.

I know this is an older post and hopefully the OP already solved their problem but I thought this info might help someone else.
