Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
I have used pocketcloud for RDP and it works well enough, though I don't have much need and haven't used anything lately. I think pocket cloud won't go full screen or scale nice unless you get the paid version. I never bothered with the paid version to get that and multiple connections.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
I use the paid version of Pocketcloud and am satisfied. The only gotcha is if you let a connection time out rather than logging out, my Xoom will not find the remote computer again unless I reboot the Xoom.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
I don't have an N7, but i use Splashtop on my GS3 and tf101.
I run a media server/htpc in the basement and i don't even need to worry about a monitor.
Plus, when on travel out of town for business, I can still watch the local 10 o'clock news before going to sleep. Just plug the GS3 into the hotel tv, access the htpc with Splashtop and dvr the night's news.

I use 2x Client on my S3 phone. I don't know if it is available on Nexus Tab. If it is, I can recommend it.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
Remote Desktop by Xtralogic is absolutely the way to go. It works wonderfully on both my N7 and GN. I don't like that Splash top requires their software to be installed on your PC. I much prefer pure RDP, and Xtralogic has the best app IMO.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
Splashtop worked for me, so I haven't tried any others.

I like Jump Desktop, I use it all the time for my PC at work. It's very intuitive in terms of navigation.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
I like to use unified remote, it has a ton of features even though you can't see the screen of the computer.
I've also used splashtop 2 and its pretty good. It has a little lag for me though, and its free at first, then they charge you monthly or something. I uninstalled it after finding out that info.. - 10-20-2012, 09:31 AM #38

GPP Remote control for me. I've also used Pocketcloud, Splashtop, and LogMeIN in the past. All of them were very capable, it's just a matter of personal preference.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
The big names do not even begin to compare with Jump Desktop. I work in IT and I have tried them all. I noticed Jump only because I saw it on sale for .99 one time and I thought I should evaluate it and see if it was worth the purchase. After trying it I felt it was definitely worth a buck. I started using it more thoroughly after purchasing and it is my favorite RDP app on my phone (Atrix 4G) and it is fully compatible with the swype keyboard. Its my favorite in my lapdock (recognizes all the hard keys on the keyboard), and on my favorite on my tablet. I wish I had never wasted my money on splashtop.

Re: What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???
I use 2X and works perfectly at home wifi use. Disappointed with Splashtop that it does not work with home wifi on my work pc which has certain firewall restrictions I cannot seem to get to disable. Pocketcloud also seems ok except for the non-full screen support on the free version. If everything else fails, Teamviewer is my last option.

We use RHUB remote support appliance in our office to provide remote technical assistance to end users, clients customer etc. It is very easy to use and unlike hosted services charging named users for subscription fees, the RHUB appliance allows each of our employees to take advantage of the productivity tools built into the appliance.
