Looks like the Play store screen shot.

Is that what actually appears on a Nexus 7?

I ask since TripAdvisor could use a "phone" display on a smaller tablet.

Regardless, it wasn't a "mobile site" screen shot as the OP indicated.

Yeah I said it was the Play store screen shot which I assumed would represent the app. Someone with a Nexus 7 would have to confirm, I don't have mine yet.

I just want to be clear here. The OP said "mobile site". That is not what Apple showed on the Nexus 7.

Google's local app works just the same and displays just like yelp looks on the iPad and local come on the N7

I see both Yelp and TripAdvisor apps were updated in October, maybe Apple playing some tricks and showing an older version of the apps running on the Nexus?

Or maybe the presentation was put together before those apps were updated.

I don't see any screen shots in the Play Store showing off a new tablet UI for Yelp.

Both app do not display in tablet format on the n7 but they do on my Xoom. So they need to be updated to see the n7 like they see the Xoom now nexus device too basically. Both running 4.1.2 stock
