Title says it all. Is it possible to reduce the amount of home screens? It is possible on my One S, not that it means it is on the N7, but it makes it more up to my needs. 1 is enough for me.

Yes, using alternative launcher like Nova, Apex, ............

I use Nova Laucher. I have only one home screen, but I Nova let's you add and subtract them at will.

The stock launcher is nice, but also lacking in options unfortunately. I can't add or remove homescreen pages which is disappointing. Yes you can use an alternate launcher, but part of what I like about Nexus is the vanilla Android feel, and overall the default launcher works fine for me, so I'll stick with it. If you want to fill up some blank space, expand a widget to take up a full screen, for example, e-mail, twitter, or music widgets can take up an entire screen. It also makes it more enjoyable to use those widgets when they are taking up a full homescreen.

Can u go into menu> edit or preferences? Thats how mine is. Has been on all my phones.

I put my apps n folders, that's too much for me to have to look thru pages trying to find what I need. If I wanna watch a video I go into my pics folder, play a game i go into my playtime folder..I have a social folder for Facebook n twitter n Google plus. It's just easier for me to locate. If I used home screens I'd Probly use 6 or so.

Folders in multiple Favorites trays.

Tap menu button, on the bottom of ur phone. It's the one that brings up options like settings. Tap edit and it should open up n u can see all ur screens. Drag the ones u don't want to the trash.

1) No, all launchers are different. You don't have our launcher.

2) Questioning my age? Someone with lazy and poor spelling and grammatical skills should not be questioning my age, irony at its finest. It's spelled 'asinine' by the way, or did you add an extra 's' to be unintendedly ironic yet again?

3) I guess someone has to be a long time member to see the large "EDIT POST" button, my mistake.

4) I don't care about your punctuation, just pointing out how terrible your posts are, without having to use fictional words like, '"beotch."

5) And speaking of, "beotch" (I feel dumber each time I type that), I've actually been quite civil with you the entire time. You just went off the handle needlessly, reminds me of all your needless posts thus far. Why do you want my tablet to explode? Is that behavior acting like a, "beotch"? (I've got to stop typing that.)

6) There is nothing to figure out or to fix, I was clear from the start. The vanilla launcher (which you do not possess) does not allow people to add or remove pages. How many times must it be said for it to sink in? Your useless perspective does not assist anyone because of the fact that Google did not code this feature into their launcher. All your phones and all your tablets are irrelevant to this thread, heck they are irrelevant to this forum. I also did not make the thread complaining about the launcher, in fact if you possessed any type of short term memory, you'd remember that earlier in the thread I stated that I wanted to stick with the vanilla launcher because I liked it enough to stick with it.
(Reminder: you don't own a device with the vanilla launcher, so as I said before, stop giving advice about it.)
