This has been surprisingly hard to find so that's why I'm here. Is there any way to screencast the android screen...specifically I want to do this with my Nexus 7. After watching android events where they project the android screen on to a larger video screen I thought this would be easy to do but I guess not. Any solutions like having it show on your computer and then simply recording your computers screen? I used the sdk before to do screenshots but that required refreshing.

you can use Screencast Video Recorder but it need root.
