Default 'Google Now' Turns WiFi On

I was using Google Now up until I woke my tablet a few hours later to find my WiFi on. I really like the service, though, after disabling Google Now, my WiFi was off during sleep, like it should have. I have set my WiFi to 'never' be on during sleep. So far, I haven't found a solution, bit really want to keep Google Now.

Go to settings---> Apps (under Device)---> Slide your finger all the way to the left, then click on Google Search. It should show enable.
