Internal Storage
Daft question but..... how can I find out whether the Nexus 7 I've just bought is 16gb or 32 gb? I had no idea that there were two versions and merrily bought the one I have from Comet and have discovered that there are two different versions and there is nothing on the box or in settings that I can find to tell me what version I have.

Re: Internal Storage
You can look on the box and it will say 16 or 32 gb
Or you can go to settings - storage - and look at the available storage - 11-05-2012, 06:26 PM #3

Settings > Storage
Look at total space. Formatting and OS uses space, so technically you don't get a full 32, it should say 28. A 16 would be less, I can't recall off hand how much usable space you get.
It's not easily marked on the box. Left hand side, under the second bar code, it will say something like AS NEXUS7 ASUS and a string of number letters with / in between. Look for a 32 or 16.Rooted Nexus 7 - XenonHD

Re: Internal Storage
As said look in settings- there should be an icon on the screen. Under storage you will find what is available and how it is being used. For my 16GB I have 13.24 GB after the system takes it's bite. All newbies should become familiar with the info available under settings and should download the manual available free in the Play Store.
