So ever since my Nexus 7 upgraded to the 4.2 update, I've been having this problem where my widgets will ALL randomly decide to mess up leaving only a gray rectangle where each widget used to be saying "tap to restore widget".

Does anyone else have this problem? When will Nova Launcher Devs fix this?!?!?!
Now I'm stuck on the default launcher which is lame cuz i cant remove the Google search bar or dock.

Have you updated nova? There was a update to fix widget issues and minor other things

Pretty sure it auto-updated itself and still no dice.

I have not noticed any issues with any widgets and am now on 4.2. What specific widget(s) are you having issues with?

Today I had to restore over 15 widgets only to have the whole thing crash AGAIN leaving me with a bunch of gray rectangles AGAIN.

Have you rebooted yet?

Also, after restoring all of your widgets to a Nova back up, then go to the App settings, clear data, cache, force stop and try again. You should be able to restore the backup at that point.

It's worth a shot at least.

Hello folks,

I have a Droid Razr Maxx and I've installed Nova Launcer which I love. For some reason though, I lost my widget descriptions and I can't figure out why they don't show up. I see gmail, beautiful widgets, etc.. but not the actual description of each. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
