Own magazines on Google Magazines?
Hi,
I'm considering the NeXus7. But I have some questions.
Firstly, I am an avid reader. Now may it be novels or magazines or even forums, I just love reading.
Now Google Magazines is very cool from what I am seeing, however, can I add my own collection to the app? If I don't purchase any mags or subscribe to any of the mags, can I still read through he app?
Also, what other apps allows reading personal books and magazines on the NeXus7?
Thanks..

Re: Own magazines on Google Magazines?
Sorry, no help on Google magazies.
But I've side loaded files into a directory I created and 'Aldiko' had no problems importing them into it's "shelves". So far, I've only done PDF files. Soon as I can get a chance I'll try an epub or two and see how that works.
ETA: I just tried, and epub files are no problem for Aldiko.

Saw Aldiko. Looks decent. Doest it have the flip page animation like there is in iReader?
Also..I'm talking about mags that are anywhere between 80-200 mb in size...does it load properly, without a glitch or is it sluggish and sloppy?

Re: Own magazines on Google Magazines?
Thankfully, no. It doesn't use the flip page animation. At least not by default.
Not sure about very large books. I just opened 'White Fang' in it, and it didn't take any longer than one of the pdf based white papers (2-3 pages) from work.
