Will updating to 4.2 cause me to lose root?

Been trying to look around but cant find an answer. I'm on 4.1.2 rooted ob my nexus 7 will doing thw OTA from google erase my root?

Root will still be there - the OS won't get by w/o it.

It will whack your access to root though. At least until you jump through the hoops again.

What do I do to get root back?

Root the same way you did before.

Or

Install [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] first, use it to backup your root access and to restore it after the OTA.
