You can now disable Google+, Google Movie Player and I think a couple more.
I definitely couldn't disable Google+/Movies before the update

Disabling Google+ was one of the first things I did after installing the 4.1.1 update, when I got my Nexus 7 way back in July, it certainly isn't new with 4.2.

How do you disable an app ?
You click on settings then apps then go to all click on the app you wish to disable and hit disable that's it:DQuote:

is there a list of "approved" apps that can be disabled safely ?
Forgive my ignorance, but why would you disable an app? It doesn't remove it. The only thing I can guess is that it stops drawing RAM. Am I correct?Quote:

Also, if you disable a system app, can you enable it again and, if so, will it function correctly?
1. Hides it in the All Apps drawer.Quote:

2. Prevents it trying to sync.
3. Prevents automatic "Update available" alerts from the Play Store app.
Yes you can reenable it.
