Play Music via Nexus 7 to Samsung Smart TV

Hi,

New Android user (ex Apple) ..

Is it posible to stream my Google Play Music from my Nexus 7 to my Samsung Smart TV? It is DLNA/Allshare enabled.. When I had an iPhone and Apple TV it was pretty simple.

Any help for a newbie appreciated.

Interested in this J, as I can currently share content across our network using Samsung's Allshare/DLNA app and assumed I'd be able to when my N7 arrives tomorrow. But that maybe because all my devices (other than our Dell laptop) are Samsung. So far I can only see Samsung remote control apps in Google Play. Will research further and update if I find anything else.

I'm also interested, but thankfully I also have a logitech revue, which is pretty nice.

I'm not sure about streaming music from a specific app like Google Music, but for streaming music or videos that are stored locally on your N7, install BubbleUPnP (free, but paid version with more features is available). This allows your N7 to be a DLNA server and will show up as an option on your TV. Select it, then navigate to the media you want to play back, and there you go! Works with my LG TV.
