Many, many threads here on this subject, but start by going to the flash thread in the Stickies section of the Nexus 7 forum.

Flash does work, it just takes a workaround to make it work, which is in the sticky at the top of this forum section. It's a very easy workaround.

Pee'd off. Can't get Sky go, TV catch up or BBC iPlayer without cracking os. Apparently paid apps are OK (netflx etc). I remember Steve Jobs complaining that flash was battery hungry, but at least he didn't classify it as incompatible!!!

No Steve Jobs classified it as "No way in hell we'll let Flash in our app store". The current situation with Flash not being officially made compatible with Jelly Bean its down to Adobe, they have decided to kill off Flash on mobile. Google may not care for Flash on Android, but they aren't stopping Adobe continuing with it, it was even mentioned in the original version of the Nexus 7 user guide but removed after Adobe announced Flash would not be available for Jelly Bean.
