Nexus 7 v Kindle Fire USB support
Hi,
I'm trying to decide whether to buy a Nexus 7 or a Kindle Fire for the kids. One thing I want to be able to do is copy mp3's, photos and movies from my PC onto the device via USB.
I read the review below which said "This is further compounded by the fact that a tablet which is made for media consumption does not boast SD card, HDMI or USB support for either 8GB or 16GB models. That means you are going to have to rely heavily on the cloud if you are planning to pack your Nexus 7 with movies, videos, and music."
Does this mean that I can't simply copy stuff over to the Nexus 7 and that everything has to be downloaded from the web

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

No, you can copy stuff over from your PC to your nexus using the USB cable provided. You can also use an OTG cable and connect your nexus to a flash drive. The only downside to that is you can't charge while using the OTG cable :)

Thanks for the reply, I thinks it's a Nexus 7 then.
