I always read the app reviews before I install them. I scroll through looking for reviews from people with the same devices I have. Is there a setting in GPlay that would show only reviews from users with the same device you have? Does that make sense?

This sounds like a very good idea, I hope the answer is yes.

There is. When you first view the reviews there should be a button that says something like 'view more', 'more' something like that. Then it will show you a longer list, and there's another menu button where you can check off 'view for latest version only' and 'show for this device only'. Sorry if that's not step by step, but I'm new to Android myself and don't have my device with me at work.

Yup... At the end of the reviews click "see all" then on the next screen click "options" and check the box for "this device only"

Edited to add: pretty sure you have to do this every time, there is no setting to make it permanently show only N7 reviews.
