Another suggestion that works for me, I created two users for myself, in one secured with password I keep important apps like financial, medical, email, etc. And on the other unprotected user I keep all the apps like games that I don't mind other people using them.

As mentioned above, APP LOCK works pretty good for me. I'm praying iOS also eventually allows us the basic ability to security lock certain apps.

If you happen to be using AVG it hss that feature built in.
