Here goes, I have a Nexus 7, I can download free apps no problem. However, I can't seem to buy any apps. So I created a google wallet & stored my credit card details on it. If I sign in to my desktop PC I can download songs etc. But it does not show in my "play music" app on the Nexus. Also when I try & buy a song on the Nexus it says "Error, Sorry, purchasing is not available for this account"

It appears when I go into google play on my PC it does not show any devices are linked to the account, can't seem to link the Nexus to my account

Anyone help please?

This seems to me like Google's services problem. Can you buy songs on any other device?

Hi, I dont have any other devices. I bought a song on the PC & it shows in the account. It even sent an email which I received on the Nexus saying I purchased the song. The song does not show up on the Nexus, probably as the Nexus is not showing as a linked device on the account. Just don't know how to link the device.

what app are you using to listen to this music? you have to use google play music to listen to purchased music.

Not sure, but you may need to setup google wallet app on your Nexus....

The issue seems to be that the google play account/wallet is not linked to the device. When I go into the play store on my PC the song is showing. However, it says no devices are attached to the account. However, I can download free apps from the store on my Nexus, I just can't pay for any. I have set up the google wallet. Really frustrating this

It is showing, the problem I seem to have is that google play on the PC does not have my Nexus linked to the account & I don't know how to add it.

It should have been setup when you first turned on your N7. Go to settings (not music settings) and scoll down to "Accounts", you should see google (and maybe facebook). If not, then I think you'll need to add an account....

If so then tap on the google one and it should show your gmail address at the top. Make sure it is the correct one (the one used with you music settings).....
