I have read many discussions about not updating to 4.2 or 4.21.
I have had 2 different Nexus 7 and neither will update. I get the download but when its updating the android guy falls over and i get a red x. On the first Nexus 7 16 g I tried manual update and it gave me an error when it finished. so I had enough and took it back to the store and got a 32 g model. Thew day I got It (Dec 31) it tried the update and same thing as the other. I can't take this one back so I kept killing Google Services Framework, I get the update, it downloads, the Nexus 7 turn off and reboots, the little android starts spinning and then falls over...I gave up on the 5th try. On the Nexus 7 32 g when I try manual update It will not go into recovery mode, I just keeps saying GOOGLE forever. BTW this is a stock out of box Nexus 7 no messing with it. I know others have had similar problem but I can't find solution listed anywhere..HELP
