    Default Program Defaults (Nexus 7 JB 4.2)

    I want to open an HTML file in Chrome but am only offered HTML Viewer.
    Despite Chrome being the default browser, it is not offered as an option when opening the HTML file.
    I've searched all I can about setting defaults and cannot find how to enable Chrome to be offered. I also cannot get access to HTML Viewer's settings to disable it.

    How can I get all the installed possibilities to be offered when I want to open an HTML file?

    Have you looked to see if you can 'Clear defaults' in the HTML Viewer app? I would at least start there.
