Screen colours washed out
I think I already know the answer to this but I'll double check all the same.
I've had my Nexus 7 for a month now and over all I'm extremely pleased with it. However last night I was watching this music video on Youtube -

and I decided to also watch it on my ageing HTC Desire at the same time to compare screens. On my HTC the sky is blue, the sea is blue and the sun is a bright yellow and clearly defined yet on my Nexus everything seems to have a grey/pink filter/haze applied to it and the sun is barely even visible in the background.
Is this a common "issue" with the Nexus screen/panel or do I have a dud?
(I know it's not the best video in the world but if you have a Nexus and another mobile device play the video on both and see the difference between the two screens) - 01-31-2013, 08:14 AM #2
Re: Screen colours washed out
This has been discussed many times. You do not have a "dud". They are all like this. The video saturation and contrast is the worst I have ever seen on any portable device. I love everything else about my N7, but the video quality really sucks big time!
