Default Drag and drop from windows to nexus 7

    Hi,
Whenever I drag and drop either a music file or video file from windows to the relevant folder on my google nexus 7 I get a message "do you want to copy to your device?"
    "no skip this file"
Or "yes, your file will be copied but you might not be able to play or view it on your device"

Is there anyway I can stop this message popping up because it is a nuisance ?
Thanks in anticipation of any help.

Colleague of mine had a similar issue with his android phone. As far as I remember he installed some "software" that came bundeled with his phone. This made the phone appear with some special device icon in the windows explorer and other stuff.
Once he uninstalled this software the problem you both describe vanished (He was using windows 7)...
