Hi,

I noticed the play store is eating my battery life, even when the unit should be idle. Here is my battery usage for today. I used the unit for 30 minutes this AM and then closed the case.



Here are the details of what the play store was doing.




Any idea what is going on?

Weird. I can't tell you why it's happening, but usually a power down/power up cycle will clear it up.

Also, it would be worthwhile to hit that "Report" button and give the folks at Google a description of this problem.

I think then play store runs to check for new versions of apps. Perhaps it is getting stuck since the WiFi shuts down when I close the case.

I usually have my Wi-Fi off, but I never have those battery drain problems. Still shouldn't be happening.
