OK what can I do with my nexus 7 I can't do with my jail broken iPad 4? I'm just curious because I can't find anything. And yes the nexus is rooted

Download free mp3s. Change the entire look of phone. Change icons. Get rid of iTunes (my #1 reason i will never use an apple product...

I just think not having to use iTunes is the greatest thing ever. On my PC, it continues to be a big bloated slow-to-start behemoth that more often than not crashes when trying to update.

Sorry my friend, but did you really expect that some people wouldn't respond the way they did? You said you "can't find anything" to do with your N7 that you can't already do with your jailbroken iPad. The way it's worded already sounds confrontational.

One thing I'd note is that in order to do things the unrooted N7 can do, you had to jailbreak your iPad--like widgets, for example.

I see your point but let's say you go to an apple forum people have both products and are very supportive, you come to a place like this and mention apple you're an *** and should be banished. But what I'm looking for is not necessarily cosmetic things the nexus can do but functional techy, awesome, things it can do

Problem here is anyone believes they can walk into a forum and express freedom of speech which is true to an extent. We have rules and guidelines that must be followed and that includes trolling, calling people trolls, insults and attacks on one another.

When you start a thread and put one platform against another you have to expect there is going to be fanboys that will support the community they are in and expect to take some heat. It comes with the territory and you have to be the bigger person and over look comments made to fuel a fire.

If a civil discussion can't be achieved then we will handle things appropriately either by closing the thread to stop the nonsense or other means. In the end this childish behavior is ruining things for those who do come to the forums to seek help and information.

I didn't find the original post confrontational at all.

I think some people are just a bit too sensy, especially when it comes to Apple.

If you're rooted, you can now try installing different ROMs. That's the biggest advantage of rooting, if you ask me.
