    Default Continued Bluetooth Issues...

I'm having a horrible time with my bluetooth speakers when I'm also streaming anything over the wifi. It's not the internet connection because if I stream the same content to my device without the BT speakers it's fine. Same for my other devices in the house. They all stream fine. But the N7 will not stream both from wifi and to BT speakers without dropping every few seconds. It's horrible. It does work fine when I stream music that is residing on my N7. But if I gotta stream it, it effs up.

    Anyone else seeing this?

Known issue in 4.1.2, no real fix available. Apparently on Google's to-do list for the next upgrade.

Reverting back to 4.1.1 is your best bet.

Do you mean known issue in 4.2.1? And dropping back to 4.1.2?

4.2.2 should fix the blutooth issue on Nexus 7 according to the latest code checkin on AOSP

I've found the same issue with my Bluetooth headset. If I'm downloading something, or even if I'm not, but notice the WiFi indicator is active for some reason, and then I connect my headset, the connection is very sporadic and not listenable. This will also occur if I'm streaming the music that I'm listening to. However, it doesn't happen all the time. It seems to occur if I've disconnected or interrupted my Bluetooth session, then connect again while WiFi is active.

But try this trick, as it seems to work for me (or possibly it's just my imagination). Put your N7 into airplane mode for a couple seconds, which disconnects WiFi and Bluetooth. Then take it out of airplane mode. Your Bluetooth device should automatically hook up again, but you'll need to restart your streaming, assuming you had something going. Now you should (might, maybe, possibly) have a clear Bluetooth signal. Sometimes this works if I only disable WiFi for a few seconds, but using the airplane mode method seems more reliable.

So give it a try and report back.
