Hi folks - I'm being driven batty by ghost touches on my touchscreen on my nexus 7. These only seem to happen in apps that show advertisements, such as the free editions of angry birds, bad piggies, draw something, cut the rope, etc. When tested under an app called MultiTouch Tester which identifies and numbers the individual touches you make on the screen, the device works flawlessly and never registers any false touches. Nor do I suffer any problems on the home screens or other apps such as skype, gmail, or any system menus or file explorers. But in the affected apps, it gets extremely irritating because objects on the screen will randomly get dragged around every 5-10 seconds or an actual touch will be cancelled (for example, while trying to aim a bird in angry birds, the slingshot will spontaneously launch).

Other than this issue I'm extremely happy with my nexus 7 and have never experienced any of the other most commonly reported problems such as screen sensitivity/flickering. Any ideas on how I can combat this nuisance? It happened both on the previous version of Android and persists now after the 4.2.2 update.
