This has happened twice now - my Nexus 7 cuts out with a millisecond of white noise and fuzzy screen. I have difficulty switching it back on. When I do get it to boot up it just keeps cutting out (battery around 35%) l've had to do a clean wipe and reboot to get it to work. Is this a common fault? It's getting annoying now.

Fully charge, turn it off overnight, and in the morning it should drastically decrease, then fully charge again and you should be fine

I had a similar problem with mine. I left it plugged in overnight (probably 12-15 hours total) without messing with it. After that it was fine. Certainly worth trying before assuming it's defective.

At the time, had charged mine up then left it overnight for maybe 6 hours turned it on, think it was at 6 % when I turned it back on then everything was fine thank God

I think it's something to do with the indicators on the software side
