So since my threads keep getting closed/deleted without receiving any actual help (thanks mods, strong commitment to helping people... strong power trip), I will attempt to ask this in a more rule-abiding manner:

If I use certain ******* sites, and download certain files from them such as movies, music, programs, etc., do I need to run an anti-virus on my Nexus 7? Basically, how prone is the Nexus 7 to virus attacks.

If anyone knows what Im asking, please post ITT. I honestly appreciate any help and legit answers. I dont need a lecture on copyright laws.

If you don't use sites of legit use, the users themselves cannot be trusted and you will need an antivirus program.

That is what you wanted to hear right?

Yes, that helps. Although for the sake of this thread not being deleted, lets just say I would never use sites of illegal use.

However, if such sites were theoretically used and I need an anti-virus app for my N7, what do you (or anyone else reading) suggest. I dont want to slow my N7 down.

Honestly, all anti-virus apps for mobile devices are pretty useless, they'll see viruses where there aren't any and they won't catch some that are there. Best thing to do is just not use those sites at all and get everything legit.

^yeah, ok.

C'mon, there is no one else in this forum that would have this issue? Everyone else plays by forum rules at all times?

We have an issue talking about how/where to pirate things. Consider that a strong commitment.

You continue to create threads asking the same question in different ways. I think you have your answer. If you want to know about specific apps I would check the application section. If they aren't being discussed there than feel free to start a thread. But mention piracy at all and you'll get an infraction.

Thread closed.

P.S. PM me personally if you have a question about the decisions of a Moderator.
