    Default Apps that can be used to prevent use of a stolen/lost N7

    A few threads lately about stolen tablets.

    What is the best app that can be loaded that can give some protection and will they work if the thief just wipes and resets everything?

    Cerberus. If your device is rooted you can convert it to a system app so it will even survive a factory reset.

    How about Android Lost for the N7 or is it more for pure phones?

    Android lost is a free app that will wipe supposedly wipe your data whereas Lookout needs a subscription to do other than locate and scream.

    Try Cerberus as above, or Prey from . It can be hidden and is free for up to three devices.
