transfering movies

How do you transfer movies which i have downloaded to the nexus 7 via ultraviolet to either my PC or onto a sd card via a OTG cable, or is that not possible.

Short answer is that you can't.

But the point of Ultraviolet is that you don't have to actually transfer movies around. If you want to watch UV movies on your computer you can do so through the flixster website. If you don't want the files stored locally on your Nexus 7 you can delete them, and then redownload/stream when you want to watch the movie again.

the point of ultraviolet is its DRM and you are heavily restricted.

Thanks for explaining, I was thinking it might be a way of storing them on an external source via OTG cable.

Apparently according to ultraviolet there movie files can be copied on to any media storage but can only be played on the relevant ultraviolet device with the correct code, if thats true then can they be transfered from nexus 7 to a sd card via OTG cable.

No, again what UV is talking about is that you can store the files locally if you choose to, but you do that through the Flixster app on the device. You don't download to a device than copy it off. If you want to watch on another device you do the same thing, you don't move the locally stored file between the devices.
