Hi All,
I have a Nexus 7 that was completely drained out of power.
So after searching a few forums, I found the battery removal trick (that didn't work out). So I continued and found the trick where we boot into the bootloader and power off the device. Then plug in the charger, that didn't work also..
I then found that I can reimage my unit, so after hours wasted getting the unit to show in the adb device command,I was on my way.
I then entered the following command "fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-grouper-4.18.img". The file was sent sucessfully but the unit got stuck and it wrote "writing". I left for hours but nothing happened.
Now i have a nexus 7 that won't power on at all (not even the "google" or the "X" are showing). I tried to remove the battery again now but in vain.

My question is my unit completely dead? or is there any way we can boot it again?

Thanks in advance,
Nick
