My nexus 7 does not react, in any way, to being plugged in. There is no flicker, no backlight, nothing. It simply doesn't react. Plugging it in to my computer also has no reaction. Here are the various fixes I've tried.
Note: I plugged it in to the ASUS adapter (for all attempts).
- Holding the power button down for 45 seconds (then 30, then 15). No reaction.
- Plugging it in, removing the plug, then immediately holding down the power button for 30 seconds.
- Plugging it in, removing the plug, then immediately holding down the power button AND the volume down button for 30 seconds.
- Charging it for an hour then repeating the above three.
- Charging it overnight then repeating the top three.
I really need help on this. The screen is completely blank, it won't charge, and the battery is perfectly connected.
Circumstances of breakdown: Yesterday afternoon, I checked my emails, watched XboxAhoy's SCAR weapon guide, before browsing PFSRD. The screen froze, so I clicked the power button. The battery was around 60% charged. I clicked, not held the power button. Then it stopped working and responding.
