Chrome playing video "open with" function.

On my nexus 5, when going to a website with video content it always shows me the option to open the video with MX player of download it with ADM for example.

On my new nexus 9 however it always plays videos inside of the chrome browser, which is super annoying.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Kinda thinking about returning it, becomes more like a closed system iPad like this :/..

Which sites? Think it depends on how the video is embedded, and also what players you have installed. You tube plays inside normally.

Right, Youtube will open the YouTube app but this site for example "rtlxl.nl" always gives me the option to use ADM or MX player on my nexus 5, on my nexus 9 it will just start playing in the browser...

Could it have to do something with the processor ?!
