On my Android Keedox MXIII Android the top box won't start, why?

Android Keedox MXIII Android set top box won't start

I ordered this tv box from amazon a couple of weeks ago. Everything was running fine until today and all the sudden it wont boot up. It either sits on the Google TV logo or goes to a gray, or sometimes a black screen. Keedox customer service was of no help, and gave me some crap about the entire company being on vacation.. There seems to be no reset button or anything, just wondering if anyone had a solution or if nothing else, a way to clear my data so I can return it with no worries of someone with all my account information.

similar has happened to my box Amalogic mxlll s802 4.4 running kitkat i have found out there is a factory reset but its hidden inside the av port at the back of device you acsess it by using a cocktail stick. depress hidden button while the power is unpluged then reconnect wait a few secs then the recovery screen appears. unfortunatly this didnt work for me still the same. can any one give suggestions?.

That's the downside to these other Android boxes... poor or no support. These boxes are not supported by Google.

Agreed, had the MK stick and same issue. Lots of issues with these devices, everything from poor quality control ie. poor soldering, to poor design ie. no ventilation and they burn up.
