Does Google Pixel really stand out ?

There's been many beautiful phones and Samsung is widely known for making shiny looking phones but as for the Q3 2016, apple has dashed out a jet black edition of their new iPhone 7 which slays all the phones in performance as well and beauty but tough ? apple hasn't even touched the "making it tough" field but can Google Pixel beat the flagships ? Talking about sales, apple and Samsung phones are sold worldwide on official bases but as of the Google, most countries don't have official outlets where public can purchase the phone so can Google beat all of that ? and with the starting price of $649, google has a long way to go for making the best Android phone but it (google) has started to climb the mountain pretty fast...lets see what innovations google showcases to beat the trend of Samsung and Apple.

Placing the Pixel at the same pricing of the iPhone is suicidal.
If only had some reaaly distinctive feature, a lifetime YouTube Red and Google Drive storage subscription, or at least a bundle with the other products...
But like this? The OnePlus3 with the same Google apps installed is looking a much better deal.

Looks to be a very good phone but it does NOT stand out. Not enough groundbreaking features to make it justifiable to spend $800-900 IMO. I will likely hold on to my Nexus 6P and hope for better in 2017
