Possibility it ships early?

This is my first purely Google phone and I'm wondering how the shipments went last year. I have a ship date of 10/20

Last year, if I remember correctly, the 5x shipped almost a week early, but the 6p did not ship until it's listed ship dates. Is it possible? Sure if you bought from the Google store anything is possible. Verizon not likely any earlier than the 19th so it is in your hands by the 20th.

I bought my Pixel xl through Verizon with a ship date of 10/20. If they handle this like they did with the note 7, I got my note 7 with next day shipping a day early. Not sure if Google will handle it different than Samsung or if it controlled completely by Verizon.

Telstra (biggest Telco in Austraila) shipped the phone out to the user yesterday, a week earlier than release.

I've pre-ordered my Pixel from Telstra as well, but haven't gotten any notification about shipping or anything. Not sure how many were shipped out accidentally before they stopped, but I'm guessing mine wasn't one of them.

I wish....So I ordered the otterbox defender from Verizon yesterday and it will be here on Monday....unfortunately I won't have my phone until Friday....

Looking back in my Google cart history, I was given a shipping window of 11/18-11/20 when I ordered my 6P on 10/21. My tracking says it shipped out on 10/29 and arrived on 10/30. That's about 3 weeks early. My current order says "Pending" with a shipping window of 10/26-10/28 from Google. Can't recall if it said "Pending" when I initially ordered? Did my status just change? Crossing fingers!

Did you order on day one? Because I don't remember hearing about anyone that ordered on day one getting it before the beginning ship date.

Why? Just buy it from Google. Can pay in full or in 24 installments, just like if you got it from AT&T.
