Pixel charging weirdness

Has anyone else experienced inconsistent charging with the included USB-C charger? I have noticed that sometimes when I plug my phone in, it will "flicker" on and off rather than a steady charge. In order to get it to charge steadily, I usually have to turn the screen on or possibly even close some apps. I haven't pinpointed anything specifically that makes it charge or not charge, but I do know that when I use other chargers with my Pixel I have never had any issues. Is this a bug or do I potentially have a bad charger or cable?

It may be a bad cable from the sound of it. Do you have a case on the phone?

I have the Spigen Slim Armor case.

I also have experienced the same problem. I can use the same cable on a different charger (generic USB charger) and it charges normal.

If everything is plugged in firmly (bottom of phone, cable to charging block, and charging block to wall) it's pretty much for sure a faulty charger or more likely the cable. Google should send you a new one, or spend $5 on another one from amazon.
