While on a call my Pixel vibrates each time I receive a notification

I have my phone set to vibrate all day during work hours. When I am on calls the thing vibrates every time I get a notification. Am I missing some setting that stops this from happening?

I'd be interested in a fix for this as well. I think it's just an android-ism, as my previous phone did this as well (and I almost never take my phones out of vibrate).

For now you could probably do this with Llama.
Condition: call state = in a call
Action: vibrate = 0

That should do the trick. You might have to make a matching event to turn vibrate back on once done with the call.
