I'm just coming from a Note 4 that I loved. Unfortunately Samsung bricked it so I went with trusty Google.
Love the Pixel XL so far, however, it annoys me to have to double tap to awake, swipe up and then enter a 4 digit number. I often have the phone on my desk so I rarely pick it up. The note simply required the pressing of the home button and I could then enter in my PIN. If the fingerprint reader was on the front, I could use that. But as we all know it's on the back.
Does anyone else find this slightly annoying? Am I missing something in settings? I see no reason for them to require to swipe up just to enter a PIN. If it was just the double tap, sure, maybe even a 3rd tap to get it from black & white (not sure what this is called) to the color mode.
