Was at a Franchise Verizon store yesterday.
Was trying to see if my At&t phones would work on Verizon.
They are not for sure. Because they are locked.

Was asking how much for a pixel XL. And what size the battery was.
The Pixel and the Pixel XL has the same size battery.
Huh. Ain't that kinda STUPID on Googles part.

Ask how much it was, he started saying 30.00 a month.
No, No, No.
I will not get on a payment plan again.
How much if I pay cash.
It will be 1300.00.

He said we have to make a profit on it.

I said were threw.
Knew better than coming into a Verizon Franchise store.

And I don't like Dealing with people that wants to screw me.

The battery size is misinformation. The XL has a 3450 size while the regular has a 2770

Why would google not put a 3000 battery in the Pixel and a 3500 in the XL.
Especially when people complain about the battery life all the time.

Don't know why they want to charge so much at a Franchise Store.
Had to leave because I was getting mad at the salesman.

Not many people complaining about pixel battery life. There will always be a few who have installed a bad app that is draining it. The majority think the battery life of pixels are acceptable.

My personal experience is that it is great.

Seems the dude at the franchise verizon store lied to me.
He said both the pixel and pixel xl had the same size batteries.
He also said to buy it outright was 1300.00.

The Pixel has excellent battery. One thing I found that drains my battery when I'm using it is web browsing. Must be the screen. But heavy browsing lasts me a day. If I limit my internet usage in my phone, I can sometimes stretch it up to 3-4 days

I've been impressed with the battery. I'm coming from a Nexus 5 and before that an HTC Vivid so.... I'm easy to impress in this area, I will admit....

VZW third party store, not sure of the name, pixel XL 128 black, which I ordered in Nov. By the time my order came in, Dec, they had a deal on the phone, $528 with monthly installments of course. None of the sales crew had even heard of the phone.
