Save Camera Roll to SD Card

I have a T-Mobile M8 that I converted to GPE. This is an actual conversion, not a ROM. On Sense, when I first opened the camera I had the option to save my camera roll directly to my external SD card and it worked like a charm. I can't figure out how to do that on GPE. I tried moving the DCIM folder to the SD Card, but then I get an error when I open the camera.

You can't save to SD card on the gpe edition, just to the internal memory. HTC must of added that function in the sense firmware

You can save some things to it, though. Music, movies, TV shows from the Play Store will all save there. And you can always move stuff over through your computer. It's not completely useless.
